This couple had gorgeous wedding in Montreal last summer, and we had the honour to capture their union. With their Italian and Pakistani backgrounds, Mariella and Iskander mixed both cultures perfectly and included elements to highlight their different backgrounds. At Love Lux Films, it was a real pleasure to witness such a colourful and fun day!
From the early hours of the day, we were following the preparations of both the bride and the grooms at their parent’s house, in Montreal. We started at the groom’s and groomsmen preparations, and headed to Mariella’s house to capture every element of her preparations. Once all bridesmaids and the bride were ready, she got in a stunning vintage car and headed to the christian ceremony in a gorgeous church.
Once they tied the knot, we headed with the couple to the Old Port in Montreal for the photoshoot and to capture some video. As they walked through the old streets and got their photos taken by the photographers, we enjoyed recording genuine and candid moments with both of them, before heading to Gare Viger, where the Muslim ceremony and reception took place.
While we didn’t get to photograph their wedding, we took out some stills from their wedding video that we included below. We truly enjoyed being part of this important event in their lives, and we hope that they’ll cherish Love Lux Film’s wedding video to remember this special day.
